Favorite Things

Julie Andrews can move over, because these are a few of my favorite things. Big surprise mine are pj's, a blanket and a book. As for my little one, those really are her favorite things....especially her Blabla dolls! They go everywhere with her!

Twelve at the Table

I had the honor of being served not only by my amazing community group last week, but also and quite literally by the incredible Evie Coates. She is an extraordinary woman of many talents of which include many forms of art and design, creating beautiful table scapes, cooking and setting the perfect atmosphere to foster beauty, conversation, creativity and above all community. She has created a very unique concept along with her family called Twelve at the Table. I encourage everyone to check out what they do. It was truly a beautiful evening.

Tiffany, we are so incredibly proud of the woman, wife and mother you are and now... NURSE! You will bless so many with your servant heart and patience as a caregiver.

The Civil Wars

My sweet friends Joy Williams and John Paul White make up a band called The Civil Wars and they were on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno last night!! They were incredible and I'm just so proud. Everyone should check their music out because its amazing. Period. End of Story....

Let it snow....

What a beautiful day it is here in Nashville! I'm sitting back relaxing and enjoying the snowy white view from my window, sipping hot cocoa with marshmallows. I have a sleeping pup at my side and a baby kicking strongly in my belly. Happiness is mine! In between sending work emails, I'm working on a baby blanket for our little lady. Yep, its a pretty good day indeed.

A New Year's to Remember

This New Year's Eve was a sweet and memorable time for us. Jeremy and I escaped to a cabin with some of the most precious people in our lives (*note...I said SOME). If I filled the house with ALL of the most incredible and dear people to me, it would be bursting at the seams. We are truly blessed with amazing friends.

The talented and beautiful Chelsea Petaja of Oh My Deer Handmades put together this incredibly sweet video documenting our trip and I think it captures the evening perfectly. Sweet friends, lots of laughter and lots of kisses to ring in the new year. Here is to an amazing 2011!

Miles Warren Pillsbury

I am so thrilled to have a new nephew! He is just perfect in every way. My sister Desiree was a trooper with a 35 hour labor, but I think she will agree that he was worth it. Born 4 weeks early and still 7 lbs 20 inches long! He was ready to make his entrance into the world. So here is a pic of the little fellow wrapped in the blanket I made for him.

I just found out that this amazing design collection is set to arrive at Target next February and I can't wait! Orla Kiely's dreamy vintage prints make me want to turn into a balloon and float away into a happy fairytale dream. Greer and Tennessee Moak
